Accountant (Russian Speaker)


Due to expansion of our services, we are currently recruiting an Accountant (Russian Speaker).

Position: Full time.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of portfolio of high-profile international clients.
  • Maintenance of proper accounting and related records in any major currency.
  • Preparation of management accounts and other ad-hoc assignments.
  • Assistance in the preparation of financial statements based on International Financial   Reporting Standards (IFRS) or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) according to the requirements of Cyprus, UK (for LLP’s and Private Limited companies).
  • Keeping of proper payroll records.
  • Liaison with the auditors for the completion of audit and review of tax return and financial statements.
  • Reporting to the Accounting Manager.

 

Qualifications requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics or any other related field from a reputable university.
  • Studying towards membership in a professional accounting body will be considered an advantage (ACA/ACCA/CPA).
  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant position.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Good knowledge of any major accounting software (knowledge of Navision will be considered an advantage).
  • Excellent command of English and Russian language.
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Eligibility to work in Cyprus without any restrictions, only those with EU Citizenship or valid work permits should apply.
